Note: This belt features dimensions of 723mm x 17.5mm x 28°. It is strictly for the 4-stroke engine architecture. Do not confuse this with automotive suspension parts sharing a similar part number (e.g., Maxgear 72-4257 rubber buffers for the Peugeot 407).

Fitment Details

This belt is a direct OEM replacement for the variator assembly. During installation, ensure the variator faces are thoroughly cleaned of all debris and old rubber residue to prevent slippage and glazing. Inspect the belt periodically for signs of wear, such as cracking or reduced width, to avoid mid-ride failure. As a best practice, replace any drive belt older than ten years, regardless of its mileage or condition.
