Product Description
This genuine Yamaha factory-original upper handlebar holder is a vintage-spec metal clamp designed to lock the handlebar tubes firmly to the steering lower bracket yoke. Engineered to original casting specifications, it ensures uniform pressure distribution across the bar surface. Note: This highly versatile classic clamp was introduced in the 1960s/1970s and used widely across Yamaha's iconic 50cc to 80cc mopeds, trial bikes, and mini-enduros. Always check your lower holder pairing (such as part 122-23442-02) to ensure matching alignment.
Fitment Details
This is a direct OEM replacement. Before installation, clean both the handlebar clamping area and the mating ridges of the lower holder to remove all traces of old grease, corrosion, or dirt. To prevent uneven clamping force or stripped threads, install the bolts and tighten them progressively in a cross-pattern to the torque settings specified in your workshop manual. Avoid over-tightening as this can pinch the bars or crack the cast body.
