5. Fitment Details
This is a direct OEM replacement. To install, ensure the slots in the rear wheel hub are thoroughly cleaned and free of old, hardened rubber debris, grit, or dried grease. Insert the new dampers firmly into the slots. If they are tight, use a silicone-based rubber lubricant to aid insertion, but avoid petroleum-based greases that can degrade the rubber compound. Ensure each damper is seated squarely, as a loose or misaligned damper can cause uneven sprocket wear and excess play in the drivetrain. Replace the entire set if the old ones have hardened or show signs of cracking to ensure optimal shock absorption.
