Product Description
This is a genuine Piaggio left-hand (L/H) front fork inner stanchion tube. Precision-ground from high-tensile steel and finished with a durable, low-friction chrome plating, this inner tube slides smoothly within the outer fork leg slider to handle front suspension damping.
Note: In catalog schematics, this is the left-side tube. Its matching right-hand (R/H) stanchion counterpart is part number 494690.

This fork stanchion is specific to early-generation, two-stroke Gilera Runner models equipped with the original USD (upside down) or standard telescopic front forks:

Fitment Details
When replacing this stanchion, always inspect the fork seals, dust wipers, and internal bushings. Any scoring or pitting on the chrome of the old stanchion will immediately tear new fork seals, causing oil leaks and loss of damping control. Clean the inner damper cartridge thoroughly before sliding the new stanchion in, and refill with the factory-specified fork oil weight and volume.
