Fitment & Installation Details
This gasket should be replaced whenever the right cylinder cover is removed for maintenance or top-end rebuilds. Ensure all old gasket material is completely removed from the mating surfaces of the cylinder and the cover to prevent oil seepage. The gasket is designed to be installed dry; avoid using RTV or liquid sealants that could interfere with the precision tolerances of the exhaust valve assembly. When re-securing the cover, tighten the mounting bolts in a uniform, staggered pattern to ensure even pressure distribution and to prevent housing distortion.
