Product Description
Piaggio Genuine factory replacement stator assembly for the Gilera GP 800 maxi-scooter. Precision-wound multi-pole copper coils mounted on a heavy-duty steel backing plate, complete with factory harness insulation, rubber crankcase pass-through grommet, and weather-sealed multi-pin connector plug. Engineered specifically to supply high-output alternating current (AC) for the engine management ignition system and battery charging circuit under high thermal and electrical loads.

Fitment & Technical Details
Direct factory OEM replacement stator assembly. Disconnect the battery negative terminal before starting work. Drain or tilt the engine to prevent oil loss, remove the left-side engine casing/flywheel cover, and use a proper flywheel puller to remove the magnetic rotor. Unbolt the old stator from the casing and unplug the wiring connector. Install the new stator 58145R, aligning the pickup gap and backing plate screw holes precisely with the factory case marks. Apply a drop of medium-strength threadlocker (Loctite 243) to the backing plate screws and torque to specification (10 Nm). Route the harness cleanly, seal the rubber grommet with high-temp RTV silicone to prevent oil weeping, and reassemble the flywheel and casing.
