Product Description

Piaggio Genuine factory 2-stroke oil tank level sender / float switch (INDICATORE LIVELLO OLIO). Engineered as a dual-function unit, it acts as both a press-fit sealing bung for the oil tank reservoir port and an electrical float switch. When the 2-stroke oil supply drops past reserve capacity, the internal float closes the circuit to illuminate the low-oil warning light on the instrument cluster, preventing severe engine seizure from oil starvation.

Fitment & Technical Details

Presses directly into the top grommet/opening of the plastic 2-stroke 2T oil tank. Connects via a 2-pin spade/plug connector to the main wiring harness. Inspect the outer sealing rubber ring during replacement; ensure a snug seal to prevent oil weeping when filling the tank to capacity.
