Product Description
This is a genuine factory-original rear hydraulic shock absorber designed for Piaggio Zip scooter platforms. As a single-chamber damper with an integrated progressive coil spring, it absorbs road vibrations while maintaining chassis balance.
Over time, Piaggio updated their cataloging system: part number CM065801 was replaced by CM065803, which has been subsequently succeeded by the active part number 668004.

Fitment Details
To install, place the scooter on its center stand and support the rear wheel assembly to keep the engine swingarm stable. Unbolt the top shock mount from the frame and the bottom mount from the engine casing. Always inspect the upper silent block rubber damper (178150) and upper rubber buffer (178149) for dry rot or deep cracking; replace them if they are flattened to prevent direct metal-to-frame impact vibrations. Reinstall using a new M10 self-locking lower nut (002440), and apply a thin layer of waterproof grease on the pivot bolts to prevent future moisture seizure.
