Product Description This genuine Yamaha factory-original master cylinder diaphragm is a premium rubber seal designed for the front brake reservoir. It keeps air, humidity, and road grime out of your brake fluid, protecting the hydraulic system from moisture contamination which leads to spongy levers and reduced stopping power. The flexible, accordion-style expansion folds are designed to expand cleanly as brake pads wear down and reservoir fluid drops, preserving a perfect, vacuum-free seal.

Fitment Details This is a direct OEM replacement. Before installing the new diaphragm, clean the reservoir rim thoroughly to remove any crystallized brake fluid. Make sure the rubber gasket is completely dry before laying it flat and square into the reservoir top. Reinstall the plastic diaphragm guide bushing (if applicable) and screw down the reservoir cap evenly. Do not over-torque the mounting screws—this can pinch the rubber edges and cause slow fluid leaks onto your paintwork.
