Product Description

Genuine electrical generator flywheel rotor (Rotor Assy). Houses internal permanent magnets that rotate around the stator assembly coils to generate AC charging current for the battery, ignition trigger pulses for the CDI unit, and lighting power on vintage 50cc air-cooled Yamaha scooters.

Fitment Details

Installs directly onto the tapered left-hand crankshaft snout over the woodruff key (90280-03017) and secures with a standard M12 flywheel flange nut (95317-12700). Always use a dedicated Yamaha flywheel puller tool (YM-01189) during removal to prevent magnetic core damage or crankshaft deformation.
