This is a genuine Yamaha factory replacement exhaust muffler assembly. Fitment & Technical Details
Direct OEM bolt-on replacement component. Installation requires unbolting the exhaust system from the rear frame mounting brackets and releasing the header-to-muffler connection collars. Always replace the exhaust joint gaskets / sealing rings between the header pipes and muffler inlets to prevent exhaust gas leaks, whistling, or backfiring on deceleration. Apply high-temperature anti-seize compound to all mounting bolts and stud threads, and torque fasteners uniformly to factory specifications to avoid vibration stress fractures on the chrome body.
