Product Description

Yamaha Genuine factory tachometer drive cable assembly (CABLE, TACHOMETER). Built with a flexible square-drive inner steel rotating cable core protected inside a friction-reducing sleeve and weather-resistant outer casing, this original cable connects the cylinder head/crankcase tachometer drive gear housing directly to the dashboard tachometer gauge on vintage 1980s DT125 2-stroke platforms.

Fitment & Technical Details

Threads into the engine crankcase tachometer output port at the lower end and onto the underside of the tachometer housing gauge. Ensure smooth, broad-radius cable routing through the factory frame guide clamps to avoid tight bends and ensure smooth pointer movement.
