Product Description

Yamaha Genuine factory internal Autolube oil pump drive gear (GEAR, PUMP DRIVE). Molded from durable, oil- and heat-resistant high-density nylon/polyamide composite (or precision-machined steel depending on production batch), this spur gear mounts directly inside the right crankcase cover to transfer engine crankshaft rotation directly to the Autolube oil metering pump shaft, maintaining steady two-stroke oil delivery proportional to engine speed.

Fitment & Technical Details

Installs inside the right-side engine crankcase / clutch cover housing behind the oil pump assembly. Retained on the drive shaft via a factory circlip (99001-08600-00). Inspect gear tooth profile carefully prior to reassembly; replace immediately if teeth show nylon shearing or stripping, as a failed drive gear will cease oil pump operation and cause engine seizure.
