Precision-machined from hardened high-strength alloy steel to withstand high initial engagement shock loads from the electric starter motor, ensuring smooth, reliable engine cranking and preventing starter slippage or binding.

Fitment & Technical Details
Remove the transmission/cv-belt plastic cooling cowl and the crankcase side cover. Extract the starter motor cover and locate the reduction idle gear assembly on its mounting shaft. Clean the shaft thoroughly, inspect for scoring, and apply a light film of high-temperature grease before sliding the new 4SB-E5650-00 gear assembly into place. Ensure it meshes cleanly with both the starter motor pinion and the starter clutch gear before resecuring the cover.Verification: Electric starter engages crisply with a smooth mechanical whir and zero grinding, hesitation, or backlash slippage under load.
