Release the spring retaining clips or remove the small screws securing the worn or damaged cover lid, and separate it from the airbox base. Inspect the internal foam filter element and perimeter sealing edge, position the new 25K-12652-00 genuine cover squarely onto the housing, and secure all latches or fasteners firmly to ensure an airtight intake seal and prevent unfiltered air bypass.
