Fitment & Technical Details
Position the scooter securely on its center stand on a clean, stable workspace. Remove the body cowlings, side panels, and carburetor assembly to gain direct access to the cylinder intake manifold port. Unbolt the intake joint and securing hardware, carefully extract the old reed valve assembly, and clean the crankcase mating surface completely of old gasket material or residue. Install a new intake gasket on both sides of the 2E9-13610-02 genuine reed valve assembly, insert it squarely into the alignment guides, and torque the mounting bolts evenly to prevent vacuum leaks or distortion of the delicate reed petals.
