Product Description
Yamaha Genuine factory upper throttle control cable (WIRE, THROTTLE 1). Features high-tensile inner steel wire encased in a flexible protective outer sheath, complete with factory end barrels, molded rubber boot sleeves, and inline adjuster hardware. Engineered specifically for late-1970s and 1980s Yamaha 50cc moped and vintage scooter platforms (3L5 model prefix). Manufactured in Japan by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.

Fitment & Technical Details
Direct OEM replacement throttle cable. Route carefully through original frame guides beneath the handlebar cowl to avoid tight radius bends or pinching. Apply a light coating of cable lubricant to the inner wire before final attachment to the throttle sleeve and ensure smooth, spring-back return action before starting the engine.
