Brand new official Yamaha factory complete reed valve assembly designed for classic two-stroke powerplants. Precision-engineered with high-grade alloy valve blocks and responsive spring-steel reed petals to optimize fuel-air charge timing, prevent crankcase blowback, and maximize low-end throttle response and top-end power.

Fitment & Technical Details
Position the motorcycle securely on its center stand on a clean, stable workspace. Remove the fuel tank, side panels, and carburetor assembly to clear access to the intake tract. Unbolt the intake manifold or rubber joint from the cylinder/crankcase, carefully extract the old reed valve assembly, and clean the mating surfaces completely of old gasket material. Install a new gasket on both sides of the 558-13610-00 genuine reed valve assembly, insert it squarely into the intake port alignment guides, and torque the mounting bolts evenly to prevent air leaks or distortion of the reed cage.
