Fitment & Technical Details
Work in a clean, well-ventilated area free from fuel vapors and chemical solvents. Remove the fuel tank and carburetor top cover assembly to access the primary sliding throttle valve. Disconnect the throttle cable linkage carefully from the old valve slider, inspect the bore for scoring or wear, and transfer any necessary jet needles or clips to the new component. Seat the 5Y1-14312-55 genuine throttle valve smoothly into the carburetor slide channel, reconnect the cable securely, and verify free up-and-down movement before reinstalling the chamber top.Verification: Slide moves smoothly from closed to wide-open throttle without sticking or binding against the carburetor bore walls.
