Product Description

Yamaha Genuine factory internal shift shaft assembly (SHIFT SHAFT ASSEMBLY). Engineered with high-tensile heat-treated alloy steel and integrated gear selector pawl linkage, this internal shaft runs across the lower engine casing to connect the external gear shift lever pedal directly to the shift drum and star wheel mechanism on large-displacement 4-stroke single platforms.

Fitment & Technical Details

Traverses through the lower crankcase to interface between the shift pedal linkage and internal transmission selector drum. When servicing, inspect the shift shaft return spring (90508-29697-00), retaining circlip (99006-10600-00), and outer crankcase oil seal for wear or damage.
