Yamaha Genuine factory silencer heat damper pad (DAMPER, MUFFLER). Heat-resistant fibrous/metallic backing insulation pad fitted directly underneath the outer exhaust muffler heat shield protector. Engineered specifically for Yamaha XT660 series dual-sport motorcycles (5VK model prefix) to dampen exhaust heat transmission to outer guards and reduce vibration noise.

Fitment & Technical Details
Installs directly between the outer metallic/plastic silencer protector guard and the inner exhaust muffler body. Ensure the exhaust silencer surface is cool and free of debris before positioning the damper pad and re-torquing the heat shield mounting screws.
