Product Description
Yamaha Genuine factory primary driven gear and outer clutch basket assembly (Primary Driven Gear Comp). Integrates the 74-tooth primary driven outer gear to mesh directly with the engine crankshaft primary drive pinion, transferring power into the clutch friction disc stack on classic small-displacement Yamaha 2-stroke commuters.

Fitment & Technical Details
Replaces earlier 1970s Yamaha catalog part number 357-16150-01. Features a 74-tooth helical primary gear mated to the 18-tooth internal kickstart/idle drive gear and outer aluminum clutch cage. Inspect the primary needle bearing and thrust washer on the main transmission input shaft prior to installation, and soak friction plates in fresh 2-stroke transmission oil (SAE 10W-30) during rebuild.
