Product Description

Yamaha Genuine factory oil pump drive gear protection cover (COVER, PUMP GEAR). Precision-stamped from high-strength alloy sheet metal with a protective factory black coating, this original cover shields the oil pump sprocket gear and drive chain (94580-25078) assembly inside the lower crankcase. It prevents chain whip, oil churning turbulence, and debris interference while maintaining critical lubrication path flow to the main oil pump assembly.

Fitment & Technical Details

Mounts directly onto the oil pump housing assembly inside the lower engine crankcase casing. Secured using factory hexagon socket head bolts (91317-06012-00 / M6x12mm). When replacing or reinstalling, inspect the oil pump drive chain slack, oil strainer housing (5PW-13412-00), and oil pump rotor clearances.
