This is a genuine factory-original, non-sealed 420-pitch, 90-link standard drive chain. Manufactured by Daido Kogyo Co. (D.I.D.) under their reliable "420M" specification, it is designed for Yamaha's small-displacement off-road bikes, pit bikes, and retro mini-cycles. Fitment Details
Before installing the chain, clean the front and rear sprockets of old dirt and grease buildup. Since this standard 420M chain does not use O-rings, it can be installed using a standard clip-style master joint for straightforward, tool-free locking. Set the rear wheel alignment evenly on both swingarm markings and adjust the chain slack to the factory-specified 20–30 mm range. Because non-O-ring chains require frequent maintenance, clean and lubricate the links regularly with a high-quality chain spray to prevent binding and premature sprocket wear.
